Facilitation

As facilitator I am helping your group to work together effectively so you can think clearly, make decisions, and reach your goals. I will design and guide the process without telling you what to decide - you are the expert for your organisation, team or project!

My expertise comes into play when it comes to developing strategies, taking decisions, and navigating changes.

Examples of my facilitation work with groups

Co-creating a vision for a new team

  • To co-create a shared vision for a newly formed team.

  • I designed and facilitated a vision workshop for a newly assembled team, guiding participants to articulate the successes they wanted to achieve by the end of the year. These aspirations were translated into the front page of a fictional newspaper, making the team’s shared vision tangible and visible. The newspaper cover was displayed in the office, serving as a daily reminder and point of alignment for the team’s goals.

  • Based on a successful pilot project, the goal was to develop a follow-up project for civil society actors in six countries in Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus.

  • I designed and facilitated a World Café with 30 civil society representatives from those six countries, guiding participants from identifying local needs through clustering them and finally developing strategic responses. The group collectively defined and prioritized key project elements to shape the follow-up project.

Creating clarity within a team

  • To clarify roles and responsibilities within a team undergoing a phase of change.

  • In a one-day workshop, I worked with the team to identify all relevant tasks and define how responsibilities should be distributed. The participants carried out the allocation themselves, ensuring that roles were assigned based on expertise and available capacity.
